Award-winning country-rock trio The Road Hammers rev up for 2026 with their hard-hitting new single “Till The Wheels Fall Off,” out January 9, 2026, via Skysong Records. The track arrives as the band gears up for their Till The Wheels Fall Off Canadian tour dates with Doc Walker in January and February 2026.
Built on roaring guitars, diesel-strength momentum, and the kind of grit only true road warriors can deliver, “Till The Wheels Fall Off” is a full-throttle anthem for anyone who refuses to quit. The song features powerhouse contributions from two icons of Canadian rock: Ian Thornley (Big Wreck) on guitar and Tyler Connolly (Theory of a Deadman) on vocals – adding extra octane to a track already primed for the fast lane.
“This song is for the ones who finish what they started,” says Jason McCoy. “Every band, every trucker, every dreamer hits that stretch where it’s easier to turn back. ‘Till The Wheels Fall Off’ is for the ones who don’t.”
“In my opinion, this is the most exciting song The Road Hammers have ever written,” adds Clayton Bellamy. “It’s also the first time the three of us wrote and recorded a song at the same time – writing while we were in the studio. The process was invigorating and inspired us to new heights as a band that we’ve never reached before.”
“This track is so heavy we’ll need a freight truck to deliver it,” says Chris Byrne with a grin.
Rooted in the band’s signature blend of classic trucker-country grit and hard-edged rock power, the single embodies everything The Road Hammers stand for: persistence, passion, and pedal-to-the-floor determination. Fans can also expect a high-voltage music video directed by Travis Nesbitt – shot on location at Dinosaur Downs Speedway in Drumheller, AB – that captures the raw, full-tilt spirit of the song.
“Till The Wheels Fall Off” follows the band’s 2025 single “Dirty Hands Clean Money” and signals another major step in their creative resurgence under the Skysong Records banner, the boutique label co-founded by McCoy and Bellamy alongside platinum-selling artist Dan Davidson and business partner Craig Senyk.
