The Road Hammers

Award-winning Canadian country-rock trio The Road Hammers are back with a raucous new anthem, “Dirty Hands Clean Money,” out now on Skysong Records – the newly launched boutique label co-founded by band members Jason McCoy and Clayton Bellamy, alongside platinum-selling artist Dan Davidson and Calgary business executive Craig Senyk.

Fueled by a rumbling bass line, gritty guitar groove, and an instantly infectious chorus, “Dirty Hands Clean Money” is a blue-collar battle cry from Canada’s kings of country rock. Co-written with their longtime longtime collaborator Tim Hicks, the track slams classic country grit into southern rock muscle – a hard-hitting blend built for backroads, barrooms, and backyard BBQs.

“This song is a salute to all the people who make their money the hard way,” said The Road Hammers’ vocalist/guitarist Clayton Bellamy. “It’s a song for the folks who help build this country. And all the dirty mother truckers who keep the wheels turning, making that clean money!”

Formed in 2004 by Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) Hall of Fame inductee Jason McCoy, The Road Hammers have earned their place as trailblazers in Canadian country music. Their sound, rooted in the traditions of 1960s and 70s trucker country, is infused with a bold rock edge and contemporary energy that continues to resonate with fans across generations. To date, the group has amassed over 43 million global streams, garnered multiple gold and platinum certifications, and received widespread recognition with six CCMA Awards, a JUNO Award, and numerous national nominations. Their reputation as a powerhouse live act has also led them to share stages with renowned artists such as Chris Stapleton, Nickelback, The Scorpions, Loretta Lynn, and Hank Williams Jr.

“Dirty Hands Clean Money” marks the band’s first release under the Skysong Records banner, with more new music planned for release in the coming months. As The Road Hammers continue to tour and record, the track signals a fresh chapter for the group – one that stays true to their roots while forging ahead with renewed creative independence.
