Propter Hawk

Toronto-based rock and roll outfit Propter Hawk announces the release of
their highly anticipated new EP, Sorry! on July 25, 2025— a collection of four genre-defying tracks born from the chaos of city life, late-night inspiration and pure musical chemistry.

Each song on Sorry! was written by a different member of the band, resulting in a dynamic and diverse blend of sounds and stories. As with all Propter Hawk songs, these tracks began as individual visions and were then put through the band’s collaborative process — the “Propter Hawk filter” — morphing them into
the emotionally charged tracks fans have come to love. Recorded at Pineship Sound in their native Toronto and produced by Carlin Nicholson of Zeus, the EP features the signature Propter Hawk blend of rock nostalgia and indie sophistication,employing a three piece horn section.

“This EP marks our first wave of new material since our debut album,” said the band in a joint statement. “Sorry! encapsulates who we are now — our growth, our camaraderie and our passion for creating music that’s raw, honest and a little unexpected. ”

With Sorry!, Propter Hawk continues to push their unique musical offerings, weaving in elements of classic rock, indie grit and vintage pop, all anchored by their signature heart-on-sleeve storytelling and electric chemistry. Propter Hawk’s EP release show at Handlebar in Kensington Market, Toronto.
