Multi-platinum, JUNO Award-winning Canadian rock band Finger Eleven have reached a major milestone as their latest single, “The Mountain,” climbs to the #1 spot on the Mediabase Canadian Active Rock chart – securing their seventh #1 Canadian hit. The anthemic track has quickly become a radio favourite, bolstered by a cinematic, fantasy-inspired official video that captures the band’s signature intensity.

“The Mountain” is featured on the band’s latest album, Last Night on Earth, out now via Better Noise Music, marking their first full-length studio album in over a decade and signalling a bold new chapter for the group.

“It’s incredible news that “The Mountain” has made it to #1! The song is a band favourite, and we’re stoked it made the climb all the way to the top,” said Finger Eleven.

“The Mountain” is a slow-building rock track that pairs layered guitars and driving rhythms with soaring vocals. It moves from more introspective moments into a powerful chorus, using the idea of a climb to reflect the search for inspiration and meaning. The result is a track that feels both personal and epic, capturing Finger Eleven’s knack for blending emotional weight with arena-ready impact.

Finger Eleven are one of Canada’s best-selling rock bands, with a career defined by chart-topping hits and major North American tours. They broke into the international mainstream with their self-titled album, which achieved platinum status in Canada, then reached new heights with 2007’s Them vs. You vs. Me, featuring the global hit “Paralyzer,” earning a JUNO Award for Rock Album of the Year. In 2023, the band reignited their momentum with a Greatest Hits collection featuring new material, including the radio hit “Together Right,” which spent five weeks at #1. With recent singles like “Adrenaline” and a renewed connection with fans on tour, Finger Eleven continue to prove that their legacy is not only intact but still climbing.
