Finger Eleven

Multi-platinum, JUNO Award-winning Canadian rockers Finger Eleven are back with their blistering new hard-rock stomper, “Blue Sky Mystery”, the second release from their highly-anticipated first album in over a decade Last Night on Earth, arriving November 7th. Featuring guest vocals from Richard Patrick of iconic alt-rock band Filter, the track is available now on all streaming platforms via Better Noise Music.
Written and produced by Finger Eleven, "Blue Sky Mystery" showcases the band’s signature hard-hitting sound paired with introspective lyrics, exploring themes of obsession and elusive clarity. It builds on the momentum of their explosive 2024 single, "Adrenaline”, which peaked at #2 on the Active Rock chart in Canada, remained in the Top 5 for over four months, and has amassed over 21 million radio impressions to date.
“This song is about deep obsession,” said Scott Anderson of Finger Eleven. “The more it's in front of you, the less you understand it, the more you're obsessed with it. You can't get your mind around it, but you can't get your mind away from it. I wanted to write a song that explored that idea.”
“Working with Scott, James, Rick, Sean and Steve could not have gone smoother. They are good guys and total pros,” said Richard Patrick of Filter. “Coincidentally, Filter is also celebrating its 30th Anniversary and we’ve never had the opportunity to work with Finger Eleven before, save for an appearance at a festival together somewhere. Recording ‘Blue Sky Mystery’ was a lot of fun.”
Finger Eleven is experiencing a powerful resurgence, fueled by an epic 2024 North American tour with Creed that reconnected the band with longtime fans and introduced their music to a new generation. Originally from Burlington, Ontario and now based mostly in Toronto, they have long been recognized as one of Canada’s best-selling bands of all time. After a decade away from the studio, they reignited their creative spark in 2023 with a Greatest Hits collection featuring new material, including their biggest radio hit in a decade, “Together Right,” which spent an incredible five weeks at #1.
After releasing their debut album Tip to critical acclaim, the band broke into the international mainstream with their s

Their 2007 release Them vs. You vs. Me launched the single “Paralyzer,” which topped charts internationally, and earned the band a JUNO Award for Rock Album of the Year. They followed it up with Life Turns Electric, nominated for another JUNO, and 2015’s Five Crooked Lines, continuing a run of radio dominance and unforgettable live shows.
The current lineup – Scott Anderson (vocals), James Black (lead guitar, backing vocals), Rick Jackett (rhythm guitar), Sean Anderson (bass), Steve Molella (drums) – continues to deliver high-energy shows and collaborative, impactful songwriting that keeps their sound relevant and their legacy strong in modern rock.
After playing select Canadian festivals this summer, Finger Eleven will head to the U.S. with Alien Ant Farm for a string of shows leading up to the new album’s release. This will be followed by a national tour with fellow Canadian rock powerhouses Headstones and The Tea Party, starting on November 25.
